Opposition organizing fight to save Kentile Floors sign in Brooklyn

A petition drive to save the iconic Kentile Floor sign has tallied 1,400 signatures since Saturday, the Daily News has learned. Councilman Brad Lander spearheaded the campaign last week after workers began erecting scaffolding around the eight-story-tall letters, a familiar sight to commuters taking the F and G train or the Gowanus Expressway.
